Mirafile (mirafile.com) makes AI-powered personal style reports from one selfie and a short quiz. Because you’re sharing a photo of yourself, here is exactly what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
- Your selfie — uploaded to a private, access-controlled storage bucket and used only to make your Mirafile.
- Your quiz answers (for example undertone checks, age range, style preferences, skin concerns, budget and the weather where you live) — used to personalize your report.
- Your first name and email — used to put your name on your report, send your free first read, deliver your PDF and answer support requests.
- Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Basic technical data (browser type, pages visited, approximate country) — used to run the site and, where you allow it, to measure our ads (see Cookies and ad measurement).
How we use it
- To analyze your coloring and features and generate your report, your selfie and answers are sent to OpenAI (image analysis, writing and image generation). If OpenAI can’t process a photo, it may be sent to fal.ai as a backup. These providers process data under their own terms and do not use API data to train their models.
- We never sell your data, never use your selfie for advertising, and never use it to train AI.
- Emails: we send the free first read you asked for and your report. We only send style tips or offers if you tick the box to opt in, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.
How long we keep it
- Selfies: kept for 14 days so we can make your Mirafile and redo it if anything goes wrong, then deleted automatically by a daily cleanup job (for an order, the 14 days start when your file is finished). If you come back after that, you’ll be asked to add your selfie again.
- Want your selfie deleted sooner? Email hello@mirafile.com from the address you used and we delete it, usually within 2 business days.
- Your report PDF: available through a private link for 30 days. Please download it to keep it.
- Order records (name, email, answers, order status): kept for 12 months for support and accounting, then deleted.
Your rights
- You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion at any time by emailing hello@mirafile.com. We delete order records and stored files within 7 days of a verified request.
- If you are in the UK or EU you have rights under the GDPR, including access, correction, erasure, restriction and objection. California residents have rights under the CCPA; we do not sell personal information.
- The service is for adults 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
